A red pepper dip

I want to start this new year immediately with a new recipe, one I made for new years’ eve: a red pepper dip. It’s an easy, delicious and allergy friendly dip you can make to eat with tortilla chips (click here to know which tortilla chips I can eat).

The dip only consists of red peppers, feta cheese and some herbs. Feta cheese is cheese made from goat or sheep milk. This kind of cheese contains 0,5 gr. lactose/100 gr cheese, not too bad. The good thing about my lactose intolerance is that I can take some lactase (the enzyme to digest lactose) when I want to eat products with lactose.


  • 3 red peppers
  • 150 g. feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper herbs
  • pepper & salt

Preparing time: 1 hr.

How to prepare:

  • Wash the red peppers & put them in a 180°C hot oven for 45 minutes until they are black.
  • Peel the red peppers.
  • Mix the peppers with the feta cheese and the herbs!
  • Enjoy 🙂
